Missing profiles, privacy and safe support
A missing person can be an access or family-selection issue.
What to do
- Check which family is selected and whether you are signed in with the intended account. Family data is separated by membership and permissions.
- Search the people list as well as the graph. A person may exist without a confirmed connection.
- Ask an authorized family editor to review the stored direct facts if the relationship looks wrong. Do not create a duplicate account or profile to bypass access.
- For a software issue, send support the development version, browser and a description of the action. Use fictional examples or redact family names, portraits and private dates in any attachment.
The public knowledge base never needs a complete family export or private share link to explain a general feature. Media and personal records remain sensitive even when you can view them. These guides do not promise that every legacy restriction or external sharing rule is visible as a switch in the current creation form.
