Use a local business workspace to review records, prepare drafts and approve supported actions. External connections require their own setup.

Back up your local business records

Keep a separate copy and verify that recovery is possible.

What to do

  1. Open Settings and the Keep your data section. Choose Full database backup for a consistent database copy.
  2. Save the downloaded file in a private location. A local database can contain business records and sensitive configuration; do not attach it to a public support request.
  3. Keep the backup separate from the working database. A readable JSON snapshot is useful for inspecting records but is different from the full database backup.
  4. Before relying on a backup for recovery, arrange a controlled restore check using a separate data location. Do not overwrite the working database as a casual test.

Cloud drives are not integrated account connections in the current app. A folder being synchronized by the operating system does not prove a tested restore process. This documentation did not restore or modify your database. Keep the application’s startup and private-data-location instructions with your recovery copy.
