Keep listening in the background
Adjust Android battery settings when playback stops after leaving the app.
- Open Settings → Background battery usage, or the bottom Allow unrestricted background usage reminder.
- In Android’s AirSound battery settings, choose Unrestricted or the equivalent background-activity allowance. On some phones the shortcut falls back to App info; open Battery there.
- Return to AirSound. The reminder disappears when Android reports that background restrictions are removed.
- Keep notifications enabled so session controls are available. Test again by switching to your music app and leaving AirSound in the background.
Screen locking can end sharing
Some newer Android versions stop MediaProjection when the phone locks. Battery allowance cannot override that system behavior. If sharing has ended, unlock the phone, select the receiver and approve a new session.
Do not assume that a lock-screen or background interruption is a wrong password. Also check Wi-Fi, Trial time, and Disconnect after silence. Labels differ across Samsung, Pixel and other phones.
