Share a local HTTP or HLS audio link
Send a live audio URL to a compatible network player on your Wi-Fi.
- Open Settings → Receiver types → HTTP / HLS and enable the type.
- Choose WAV · live PCM or HLS · AAC, more buffering. Leave Port blank for automatic selection, or enter a free port from 1024 to 65535. Tap Save.
- End any existing sharing session. Open Receivers → Share a local stream link and approve Android capture.
- On the Local stream row, tap Open stream link → Copy link.
- Open that exact URL in a network player that supports the chosen live format, on the same Wi-Fi network. Do not replace the session token or guess the address.
- Start eligible source audio. Waiting for a player means no listener has fetched the stream yet. After a player connects, confirm audible output in that player.
Anyone with the working link on the reachable network can listen while sharing is active. Use a trusted Wi-Fi network, do not forward the port to the internet, and do not post the link publicly. Stop sharing invalidates the session URL.
An empty port field means automatic; it is not an error. A fixed port can fail if another app uses it. Return to automatic if unsure. HLS adds buffering, and a compatible player is required; no specific external player is certified by these instructions.
