Read income and set business or Staff targets
Distinguish completed-appointment income from cash, deposits and salary.

Income and targets
Monthly/yearly dashboard cards use the final recorded prices of completed appointments, attributed to appointment date in business timezone, through the last finalized local day. They are appointment income—not cash received, salary, commission or an accounting ledger. Deposits are part-payment and are never added twice. Currencies remain separate; approved/future/no-show/cancelled/rejected appointments do not become completed revenue merely because a deposit exists.
The background worker finalizes/recalculates periods. Check Updated through; an unfinished refresh displays an honest pending state. Corrections may change older totals. An unavailable report is not a zero-income claim.
In Settings, manage business-wide targets separately from Staff targets. Select Staff, period/month/year, currency and target amount; Save and reload. Switching Staff with unsaved changes is guarded. Target progress handles unset, zero and exceeded values. Staff sees only its own permitted report/targets and does not receive target-management rights merely because it can view income.
Current target editor
- Read Updated through and pending/unavailable status first.
- Choose Business-wide targets or select Staff targets.
- Enter Monthly target or Yearly target in the displayed business currency. Check Period starting.
- Choose Save month target / Save year target, then reload.
- Expand Saved target periods for earlier periods.
The current editor uses current month/year periods, not an arbitrary historic period selector. A blank amount means unset; zero is explicit. Saving the new period preserves past targets. Income uses finalized completed-appointment value in business timezone, not salaries, commissions or a cash ledger. Limited Staff view does not grant target-management rights.
