Configure notification events and delivery timing
Save event preferences separately from actual email delivery.
For: Business notification manager. Open: Notifications.
Notification settings — /app/notifications
Select the event controls actually offered: booking creation/change/cancellation, deposit paid/overdue, reminders, daily Staff overview, review request and trial-ending notice. Save and reload to confirm the versioned settings. Enabling a notification does not create a new booking, verify a deposit or guarantee delivery.

Email is handled by a background outbox worker, not an open browser. Current local delivery is captured by Mailpit; no live provider is configured. Inspect the delivery/outbox information and failure reasons where permitted. A dead notification's explicit replay is bounded; it is not an unlimited resend button. Fix the underlying recipient/configuration/transport issue first. Booking changes remain saved even if later email delivery fails.
Event and timing controls
Choose New approved booking alert, Booking changed, Booking cancelled, Deposit paid, Overdue deposit, Appointment reminders, Daily staff overview, Review request and Trial-ending notice. Reminder lead (minutes) schedules eligible reminders before appointments; Daily overview local time uses the business timezone. Trial-ending lead (minutes) is notice timing, not trial extension. Review destination URL supplies the review link. Sender display name is a human-readable From name, not verified-domain or SMTP configuration.
- Review current saved values and intended events.
- Choose Save notification settings and reload.
- Review permitted failure/outbox states separately.
- Fix the cause before an eligible Replay once; it is bounded recovery.
Current local mail capture is not confirmed production inbox delivery. Scheduling/outbox tests do not establish an active recurring cloud worker or configured provider. Booking saves can succeed while later email fails. Enabling a checkbox does not create a booking, verify a payment or extend access.
