Save recovery codes and recover account access
Preserve the one-time list and understand replacement and email confirmation.
For: Business · Staff · Independent Professional. Open: Security → Recovery codes.
Generate and store
- Use a recently authenticator-verified session. Otherwise the panel explains that an authenticator-protected session is required.
- Save the first set if automatically displayed; otherwise choose Generate recovery codes when enabled.
- Use Copy codes, or manually select/copy if clipboard access fails.
- Store the list privately, then choose I saved my codes. It disappears and cannot be displayed again.
- Check the unused-code count and Next set availability.
Each code works once. A new set invalidates the previous set. Replacement is normally available every 24 hours or once all current codes are used. A disabled button is not bypassed by repeatedly clicking it.
Recover after losing the authenticator
Use the sign-in recovery-code option with your account email and one unused code. Confirm the private recovery email. Confirmation removes the lost authenticator and ends sessions; complete the following password setup before signing in, then reconnect an authenticator. Confirmation alone does not save a new password.
An authenticator setup key generates timed app codes; it is not a recovery code. A booking reference is neither. Never include actual values in support screenshots. If rotation fails ambiguously, read the refreshed status rather than assuming which set remains usable.
